Change a unit to heat pump

I have recently installed 2 secondhand Daikin wall mount units only to discover that they are cooling only.

The indoor unit is a FAYP71BV1
    Condenser is a RP71B7V1.

I Researched online these units and its definitely a cooling only condenser, looks like indoor unit is standard so can do either.

I spoke to Daikin and they said that I can fit a four way valve and change the pcb, however I am worried that it will definitely work, as also the parts are quite expensive also unit is quite old , customer has asked of options, alternative option is replace system, but I do not have any around.

Has anybody out there had to do this, Please advise if you can
