Frick SGC 1918 service manual
Dear All;
I have a Frick SGC 1918 compressor to tear down,
although I have done many to TDSH compressor,
it is the first time for me to tear down this new type compressor,
I wonder if anybody here can kindly provide the service manual for SGC compressor(I only have TDSH service manual),
or simply provide the axial clearance parameter,
thanks in advance.
Tung

I'll be glad to help but what I have is a 1985 version manual,
I wonder if Ping has an updated one for you.

Re: Frick SGC 1918 service manual
I would like to take a doubt.
In mounting FRICK SGC when I'm riding the roller shimms use the bearing inner race but gets a break beyond the manufacturer's recommended FRICK ride the 193 with axial clearance of 0.19 mm but move the shaft after mounting covers male and female is a gap of 0.04 to 0.05 mm can not determine what is happening already disassembled bearings changed but the play continues. That and normal FRICK? Please help me
Thank until the moment

Re: Frick SGC 1918 service manual
Diego if I understandyou correctly this is normal
0.0065" to 0.0095" ((0,16mm to 0.24mm)discharge end clearance rotor lightly jacked towards suction end.
When assemble rotor movement can be between 0.001" to 0.0049" (0.025mm to 0.12mm) which is normal clearance within a new bearing.
