    dryer fault



    Hi,
    Got a integral dryer on atlas copco air compressor,fault is dewpoint high at 17 degrees should be about 3. when gauges on high side 16 bar with fan coming in, low side showing 10 bar.hbpv on this system and does nothing when ajusting,any advice what might be fault.r404 gas 3.9kg

    low side pressure is high comp pos not pumping corectly or hot gas bypass valve stuck open

    I`ll go with martin on this, looks like the hot gas valve is stuck open. Try giving it a few taps with a toffee hammer to see if it frees the valve up. Just support the opposite side to support it

    replace the refrigerant. its a common problem on atlas copco driers.
