Re: Hydrocarbon Course notes
If you're going to the course, cancel it and get your gas from Climate Center.
Death by Powerpoint.
Simple rules, don't smoke or have a naked light near it, use a combustible gas monitor, purge with nitrogen, course over.
Generally I like training but that one was money for old rope.
Sorry trainers, you can shoot me if you like.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

Re: Hydrocarbon Course notes
Hold your fire boys.
You need the BOC Care card to purchase from BOC however what are other suppliers doing? Are they asking for evidence of training or are they making the sale and hoping for the best?
If Climate Centre (as above for example) where to sell a few canisters to me and I go blowing myself, some babies, puppies and a panda up, what would the supplier who sold to somebody untrained, say to the coroner or Magistrate?
