Brema VM1700 Defrost not working
Got a Brema VM1700 that runs a good freeze cycle then switches to harvest. The hot gas valve opens and hot gas travels a good way down the piping but doesn't seem to make it all the way through to the evaporator plates. Since the thermostat never gets to +8C the defrost cycle runs forever. Ice cubes remain stuck or eventually fall out but takes forever. The valve is opening, but gas isn't getting through properly. Any suggestions?

check the gas charge, weigh in correct charge? Is the ice ice getting to thick? is the water fill solenoid working?

Just stripping the HGV internals out now (saves having to braze a new valve body in and the space is tight) so should have the monster working again soon).
