Arneg 2010 and 2011 Cases with failing liquid line sol valves

Has anyone experienced problems with danfoss 3/8 10mm new style sol valve o ring failing between the brass base and stainless top section. We have had several fail on new and retrofit installation using 404a with eal 22 oil causing loss of refrigerant. Failure time is normally 3 to 6 months after installation. Exchanging the o ring solves the problem, problem may be over heating when installed at production?

I've only had two of these leak, one was in the hot gas line on a Zanotti and i think it just got cooked during defrosts, the bolts were loose on the other one and it was fine once tightened.

I don't do much Arneg style things though.

Where do you get the new o rings from?

    Cheers Jon

Had a lot of these failures a few years ago, turned out installers never stripped or protected the valves before brazing, generally failed sooner than 3 months though.
