    Duct shoes

    Dear All,

The duct shoes (square to round) emerging from the branches that will be connected to the flexible duct for subsequent connection to the diffusers,

these shoes, when you connect them to the round volume damper, the entire piece (shoe plus damper), what length does it need to be as per smacna, is there a special formula for this?..

    Thank you,
    Regards

Dampers should generally be fitted at least 2 duct diameters downstream of any size change or direction change.

    Very informative Brian.
Sadly we still cannot give credit, where it is due.
Are there any plans on the horizon to remedy this?
