Question Compressor goes off after few minutes

    Hello everybody,

The compressor of a DX Unit (CLIMATECH) overflows and goes off after a few minutes of working and in the control panel there is an Alarm and shows error "HIGH SUCTION SUPER HEAT". I suspect this is due to the expansion valve (Not Sure). But the problem is, this particular valve is not available in UAE.

    Model No. of Expansion Valve - ALCO K 0834 X 7428-2

Please some body help me to solve this issue.

    Nidhin Cletus

I think you mean OVERHEATS, not OVERFLOWS.

I think you are short on gas. Would you please check the subcooling?

High - superheat can be due to 1) undercharged system 2) liquid line filter partially clogged 3) tex valve inlet port might have foreign particles

Maybe you should post a bit more of information like what's the system for, refrigerant type, superheat, subcooling and any other visual and technical details you can provide. tho as D.D.KORANNE posted those are the high superheat related most common issues.
