Is there a starting capacitor he could wire in to help during start up loads. If I remember correctly he said he measured the startup amps to be 11, but he can start another compressor that draws 8amps.
From what I've read sofar there should be a capacitor avalible for it. Or am I wrong?
Thanks
Hi there, a 27YE-5 is a 1/3 HP compressor, same capacity as a Danfoss FR11A. The EU10-I generator is an excellent power source( use it all the time for work) but it is rated at 850watts or 3.7amps/230volts and i would not go pushing its limits. You would be far better off using the EU20-I, that has double capacity.. mike.
