Re: hiyasu inverter
I found this on the internet which may be of interest.
Most People have not heard of Hiyasu or Daitsu but they are actually the specialist air conditioning side of the Fujitsu Brand. They are highly regarded as the best mid range units available and manufacture a huge veriety of units from wall mounted to ducted systems. They come with a 2 year guarantee. Please click on the 'Hiyasu' link above to look at some of the Hiyasu range we can supply.
If they are simply fujitsu units you may want to look up Paulh on this forum. He has an extensive knowledge of these units.

Re: hiyasu inverter
Hiyasu are a Fujitsu in disguise, I know as I have a hiyasu badge that managed to escape the factory stuck to a Fujitsu unit As such they do have a similar fault / error display and if you provide the model number I will find the info.
Aircon in spain as nike123 has said "what is the flashing pattern of the lights" how does the red, green and possibly orange lights flash. Are you an end user or a technician trying to get help to fix a unit? I would expect the end user to just say "the lights are all flashing" but not a technician.

Re: hiyasu inverter
Hi Nike123
I have a problem with a friends HIYASU airconditioning unit in that they have lost the mando control for it.
The Model Number of the unit is;
HSE 17 TW 03
And I am told the model number of the mando is;
9 AHH0269
Would it be possible for you to let me know if I can get a replacement mando either new or second hand? If that is not a possibility, is there a way to opperate the unit by hand, simply turning it on and off?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Paul

Re: hiyasu inverter
If you can´t find the correct controller, then you could use a universal one as a last option. They sell them in Pecomark.
Or you could contact Hiyasu direct,
HIYASU S.A.
Entenza 332-334 6º1º
08029 Barcelona
ESPAÑA
Tel. 93 363 21 40
Fax 93 363 10 18
As. Técnica 902 15 39 91
There will be a hand button somewhere on the indoor unit, likely on the right hand side of the indoor unit, near the electrical connections.

Re: hiyasu inverter
Here you could try to find replacement universal remote.
I am not familiar with Hiyasu model numbers.
Could you describe unit:
shape (wall mounted, floor mounted, etc..)
year of purchase
refrigerant used
single or multi

Re: hiyasu inverter
Thanks for your help guys..............though the only info I have is that it is a split unit, large in size with these following details;
Serial Number: AA3710E0200AE45H7262
Model Number: HSE 17 TW 03
0405
Outdoor Unit: HOE 17 TW 03
Capacity: 5.20 Kw Cool, 6.0 Kw Hot
If it isn't possible to gat a mando, where can I get a multipurpose one from? I see Pecomark mentioned, but not heard of them before? Is it like going to the shop for a multi purpose TV one?

Re: hiyasu inverter
As a Hiyasu end user I too have problems with flashing lights and non-operation of an inverter unit. On start-up all seems well but after about 2 mins the green light starts to flash at approx 1 second intervals and nothing else happens. On advice I cut the power for about 10 mins. No difference. I was then told that a number of hours was need. After 5 hours the computer semmed to have re-booted an now the unit works very well on cooling. Still no joy with heating. The gas pressure has been checked and is OK. Ny further suggestins would be appreciated.

Re: hiyasu inverter
I am an end user in Spain with an ongoing problem with a hiyasu inverter unit approx 6 years old. In the winter theunit would run for 15-30 secs then cut out and the green light flashed continuosly with no other pattern or sequence. I tried shutting power for 15 mins-no good. Was advised to try 2 hours-no good. This summer the same unit is giving intermittent probs with the sams grren light flashing all the time in failure mode. Again cutting power does not encourage the computer to fix the problem. A couple f local guys have had a look-one said the pressure was low and topped it up (did not measure the amount of gas), the other guy said the pressure was ok. Any help would would be greatly appreciated.

Re: hiyasu inverter
From what you say I do not think this has anything to do with "gas pressure" and the flashing light means the air conditioner is trying to tell you it has an error which is most likely within the inverter mechanism.
When the green light is flashing press the Test run button on the remote control and the flashing light pattern will change.
Please tell us the MODEL number of the air conditioner and also the second flashing light pattern.Last edited by ozairman; 13-09-2010 at 03:46 PM.

Re: hiyasu inverter
Hi Airefresco,
Have a look at the Eurofred. es website. You will find Hiyasu and Daitsu brands along with General. It is common knowledge that General and Fujitsu units differ only with model prefix and badge.
We have installed both Hiyasu and Daitsu, and the only difference was the badge. At the same time, we have some s/h floor/ceiling units badged Daitsu and General, and to all intents and purposes are the same.
RealCoolMan
We need the model number to assess the light pattern. This is important.
There are two levels, the first is the blinking of the Operation and Timer lights, and there is a second level that is accessed using the 'test' button on the remote.
All the best, GrahamLast edited by aircon50; 20-09-2010 at 10:26 PM. Reason: Missed out text!

Re: hiyasu inverter
Whats confusing is there are two Daitsu´s, Daitsu and Daitsu Electric. The ones we normally deal with are the Daitsu you mention from Eurofred. The Domestic range is nothing like Fujitsu (or the others) I think they are Galanz or something. Daitsu electric are definitely Fujitsu units re-badged, they look identical and have the same names and everything.
