Misa Freebloc A/C Monoblocs
Does anyone know of a wholesaler that can supply Misa Units in the U.K.
Misa themselves do not list anyone.
For various reasons "We" have been unable to purchase direct from the factory in Italy.
I was just wondering who we could purchase through.
This is for a direct "like for like" replacement of an install within the U.K.
So someone used to deal with them?
Any help our advise would be appreciated.
Thanks Grizzly

Re: Misa Freebloc A/C Monoblocs
I have only ever come across this 1 unit, which is a walk in larder on R22. it has a leaking evap.
So the customer has requested a replacement ( Preferably a direct replacement if poss.)
The exact same sized unit is still available only on a newer Refrigerant.
I sourced the unit and the office liased with them.
They won't take card or bank transfer!!!
Even trying to set up an account has ran into problems.
Hence my request.
If no luck then I shall be looking for a similar replacement.
Cheers Al.
Steve.
The old unit had ran pretty much trouble free for 10yrs or more at least.
I have not been involved with the site for longer!
Yeah, Not bad units!

I've emailed them Steve, but these can take a while to set up!!
Have you tried caterkwik or similar for a replacement, most take up the same space. Porkka also do a good range of drop ins.

Re: Misa Freebloc A/C Monoblocs
I have been advised today that. We have indeed offered the customer a complete porkka cold room as an alternative.
It apears it will work out cheaper and their equipment is supported, within the U.K.
Cheers Grizzly.
