LED7 on Mitsubishi Electric PUH4 R22 system
Hi gentlemen having a problem diagnosing a fault with the above mentioned system.
The runnng suction pressure is approx 45-50psig in cooling mode, the discharge pressure approx 225psig. The compressor is extremely hot and keeps cutting out after approx 30 mins on thermal cut out.
The system is about 10 years old maybe more, air off the duct is 17 degrees c.
The system seems to be running fine as pressures go but not cooling properly.
Any ideas would be greatly accepted.

Misti's like to see not less than 0°C on the suction.
Pressures without temperatures do not help too much, check the superheat if the compressor is over heating.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

Re: LED7 on Mitsubishi Electric PUH4 R22 system
Does sound like its short of gas, but the pressures seem to be not bad, definatly check the superheat on this unit to check it out
thanks
