Honeywell Performax LT
Does any one know anything about the new Performax LT refrigerant?
It's allegedly a better replacement for R22 and R404a systems than R407a. I am trying to establish whether it has the same glide issues as 407a.
Some supermarkets are already using it allegedly rather than 407a.

What information has the Honeywell Genetron website given you on the product?

Hello,
My name is Ron and I work for honeywell. You can go to genetronperformaxlt.com for information on this refrigerant.
The ASHRAE number is pending but it will be given 407F.
Glide is similar to other 407 blends but GWP is lower (1824). Capacity at medium and low temperature is excellent when compared to R22. The nice thing about it is that the installed R22 valves behave very well after a conversion. you may not need to adjust the valves at all if they were selected and adjusted well for R22.
