heat exchanger with problems
hi ,
The picture i included is one of a heat exchanger, the tube is the exit liquid pipe
from a freezing application (hope this is the right place to post this)
It struggled for a long time with low pressure issues.
i think this fault is due to bad brasing (20%)
instead of 80 %
have you guys ever seen this kinda thing before ??
and what do you think
thank youLast edited by frederik79; 05-03-2010 at 06:50 PM.

monkey spanners
my theory is liquid got under the copper...(look at the first pic)
pushed the copper blocking the pipe.
can't get any other good reason why this happened.

I've seen something similar in a vibration eliminator, used to cause hp trips on start up but once system was running it worked ok.
