I need a advice about defrost
Hello everybody Im cuki from kosova, I need an advice about defrost with gas,
question: Is it better to let fans run during defrost with gas or no?

Fans must be off during defrost.

is it a freezer because chillers can have [off cycle]defrost with fans running.but if you are putting heat into evap fans must be off! durng defrost cycle.

dont worry about the pump out if using hot gas be sure any liquid line solenoid is closed.no different than basic electronic controller function when using pump down to control temps.

most important to treat any gas defrost system just like a coldstore defrost cycle .i.e after pumpdown fans OFF for duration and if frozen food system leave fans off for approx 3 to 4 mins that is recovery to allow evaporator to flood fully.

to me your system its a low temperature application,no fan during defrost.
