Blast freezer
Sir,
I have to install a blast freezer with the following specification:
Height: 6 Feet
Width: 10 Feet
Length: 22 Feet
2 compressors use 15 Hp each
2 cooling coils used with 4 fans each
Gas use R22
Product : Chicken
Both cooling coils hang on staring end of the blast freeze (Length)
Sir, Kindly suggest me that how much time it take to reduce the teperature of the chicken from +15C to -20C.
Or is it possible that it reduce teperature of chicken from +15 C to -20C in 4 to 6 hours and how.
Thanking you

Welcome to the forum mkashif!
You will need to provide a bit more information such as the total weight of the load and whole or pieces of chicken.
Do you have the coils and compressors already? If so we would need the specs on them as well.
Just offhand the two 15HP compressors sound small for that size of blast freezer.

Re: Blast freezer
Sir,
Thankyou very much for your reply.
The total capacity of blast freezer 4000 kg but storing 1000 kg to 3000 kg at a time and chicken store in bunch of pieces of 5kg each.
We already have cooling coil and compressors. We have 6 feet height of blast freezer and cooling coil installed in a top center of the blast freezer but not effectively maintain air flow after 15 Feet out of 22 Feet Length.
