hi guys looking for some info.i have a problem with a Copeland scroll compressor.model zf33k4e type 551 10h/p.on the back of the compressor there is a 1/4 tube that attaches to a Lexy hose then through a device that looks like a filter. into a solenoid and attaches to the liquid line.is a capillary or a oil separator.and is that a filter.any help would be good thanks.

At back of that compressor is liquid/vapor injection fitting and what you describing as filter, it should be filter.
Do you have photo of that to confirm?

This should be for liquid or vapor injection option. Refer the pictures. For more info. refer copeland Application bulletin AE4 1302 R6

It's called a Discharge Temperature Control Valve (DTC). It's a liquid injection valve used to cool the compressor in low temperature applications.
