Which system to use?
Dear alls
I have a chiller of 500 lit with 2 1.5ton compressor.As i m in expansion mode (want 3000lit/day) one of my friend suggest to buy ICE BANK TANK.
As it makes my product cool fast and also power saver?
From this forum I invite suggestion and ideas for the above.

If you have chiller of 500l/day capacity than there is no Ice Bank Tank which will produce 3000l/day capacity.
You need chiller capable to produce more than 3000l/day to be able to fill Ice bank and to save some money when electricity rate is high.

You could buy another chiller or four and use the same number of icebanks. This would give redundancy and save on power if cheeper at night and reducing peak kiloWatt hours. From experience for the cost icebanks are not very efficient as the increase surface area to gain heat. For the exercise it would be prudent to pay an engineer with experience to design and prove system modifications.
