Coca Cola Display Fridge Help!!
I have a single door Coca Cola Display fridge which I inherited when I bought a new premisis.
When i originally looked around it was working and since moving into the premisis it isn't working.
We have tried to put a new 13amp fuse in the plug and it switched on for about a second and then blew the fuse.
Is there anything you can suggest or does it need an engineer?
If it needs an engineer do you know any company that services them?
Thank you

Re: Coca Cola Display Fridge Help!!
Hi Gary.
In the UK domestic plugs are standard and take the same size fuse dimension wise but the amp rateings are different up to a maximum of 13 amp.
So all plugs are standard and so are the fuses.
In the UK the fridge is under licence to coke for a period of time and then becomes the property of the owner or the owner can buy the fridge out right from new at a discounted rate and is only suposed to stock it with coke products.
As the others have posted though I would start with the basics and check the power cable from plug to fridge, check for it being trapped or pulled.
If the lead is ok the somthing on the system electricaly is faulty, such as the comp, fan motors, trim heaters or somthing else like that.
If it is not the lead it will need someone to look at it who knows what they are doing.
Cheers taz.

Re: Coca Cola Display Fridge Help!!
Katy,
Speak to Coca Cola at Milton Keynes to find out if it is their property and you might get it done for free, if not call out a local engineer.

Re: Coca Cola Display Fridge Help!!
To be honest I would call in the fridgy's It could be a number of problems. If you used the right type of fuse and it blew after a second it may be a compressor or fan motor but as i said it could be anything.
Good luck

Re: Coca Cola Display Fridge Help!!
Dear Katy,
First of all u should check the operating voltage of that coke visi cooler which is recomended by the manufacturer, if it is operating with 110 volts then u have to installed a step down voltage stabilizer which operates the supply voltage. if the the operating voltage is correct as per recomended and still that visi cooler is not working then u have to check the continuity of the main probe (leed) and three pin top of the visi cooler with the help of multimeter because in transportation the main probe may be tempered.
