    indesit problem

i have an indesit fridge - freezer mod no b.a.a.n.12 sn no511231281 my problem is the compresser is humming continously but the fridge & freezer remain warm. iv tried switching the thermostat to lowest tempature but it does nothing compresser still keeps humming away.i bought this fridge 18 months ago brand new as my old one packed in then found out that the freezer wont work in winter as i keep it in my shed, and in winter it is to cold for it to work. my old one had two compressers so was ok. so the freezer has never been used, only the fridge for drinks etc.hope someone can help as it would be a shame to bin it, as it still looks brand new. hope im putting this in the right forum as it is my first post
