Small/tiny aircon compressor required
Hi everyone,
I'm searching for a range of small air-conditioning compressors for a specific new design application.
The smallest I have found so far is:
Manufacturer : Emerson/Copeland
Model # : ZR18K4E-PFJ (220-50-1, scroll)
Rated capacity : 3.0 kW @ Tc,s 50'C; Te,s 7'C
Refrigerant : R-134a
If anyone has links, or literature on smaller compressors than this, for use in air-conditioning applications, I would be most grateful. They can be of any type, not restricted to scroll.
Many thanks,
desA

Re: Small/tiny aircon compressor required
Next question - does anyone know where the XB357VFB can be purchased?
Been searching the internet & the main Mitsubishi Electric global website. Can't seem to locate the product at all.
If memory serves, I tried hunting this same compressor down around 3 months back (saw it mentioned in a scientific paper & the name rung a bell), with similar results.Engineering Specialist - Cuprobraze, Nocolok, CD Technology

Re: Small/tiny aircon compressor required
^ Saw that thread on a Google search. Trouble is that the Japan link no longer works & the Mitsubishi UK search comes up with nothing.
I'll look at the German link to SKG Service & see if that is still active.Engineering Specialist - Cuprobraze, Nocolok, CD Technology

Re: Small/tiny aircon compressor required
The model number in the pics on thread ^^ has changed from XB357VFB to XB357GUD.
This links it to Rittal as a spare part. Wonder if there is any other way to purchase direct in Asia - Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam?
I'd love to see the performance curves, as I think this compressor may just be the kind of thing I'm after.Last edited by desA; 28-06-2009 at 06:26 AM.
