selection and sizing
i have a question regarding selection and sizing of equipment. For example upon computation cooling load then select an equipment with that capacity. does mass flow and volume or other details of the compressor would also matter in selection of equipment? i mean if the installation is only back to back would that matter?
thank you

Re: selection and sizing
What refrigeration field you addressing here, since that is not clear from your post and section in which you posted your question?
I could only speculate that you talking about split system ductless air conditioners.

Re: selection and sizing
its for refrigeratiion application. i don't know if im making a point just want to know if installation affect the capacity of the compressor. for example, pipe run of 20 meters against 6 meters so less pipe losses right? that's why im thinking if the mass flow will have a great deal with the selection. assuming same room dimension, product, horsepower of compressor etc. (all same) except the pipe run.
thank you for the explanation
