    mixing of oils

    Hi guys,

I heard a couple of tech's at the shop talking about some one who put AB oil in a system with R507.Now they have flush the system with rx11.
What does the mixing of the oils in the system cause? Or are they just trying to get all of the oil out?

    thanks

Alkylbenzene is compatible with HFCs, but it may or may not mix with the existing oil. It should be miscible with POE, but results of interaction between additives are unpredictable.
AB oil is not a flushing agent for POE.
