ReFreeX technology - a simple method to reduce refrigerant by 80%
Hi Members, We have a simple digital technology to reduce refrigerant quantity by 80%. This technology can be used in every dry expansion plant.
The thermostatic valve and the liquid receiver are not required.
A plain solenoid valve, without any orifice, pulses on and off to regulate the evaporator feeding.
Details and a full example are posted on our web site micheletti.org .

Re: ReFreeX technology - a simple method to reduce refrigerant by 80%
Can I respectfully ask how this compared to an electronic expansion valve, which also seems to pulse the flow?

Re: ReFreeX technology - a simple method to reduce refrigerant by 80%
The ReFreeX™ advantages
The environment
• 80% reduction of refrigerant charge and then greenhouse effect
• less lubricating oil thanks to refrigerant reduction
• reduced metal thickness in piping thanks to no PED (97/23/EC) applicability
Where does the 80% refrigeration claim arise from? A saving in liquid volume? This seems to be the main claim I can see.
I'm trying to understand the substance & essence of the claim - not quite sure the thermodynamics adds up in my head at the moment. I'd like more information.

weird. i dont know if i belive that. how the hell can you still flood the evap with refrigerant if theres 80% less in a system?
