Bohn refrigeration

Hi people, Just wondering if anybody knows if the Company Bohn (not Friga Bohn) has a Uk distributor as they are a American based company.

The reason i ask is im a contrator for good old Macdonalds, and we have been having alot of problems with the delfield deli chillers. The evaporators have been bursting. now delfield are saying they have no evaportors in stock (we have been waiting 6 weeks for 5 evporators), they used to charge approx £250 + vat for the evap coil assy as they are only small (approx 800 btu). They have altered there prices and are now charging £700 + vat, which is rediculious. The evap im after is a Bohn VA08.

So was just wondering if there was a UK dealer that may have them in stock at a better price!

There are some specialist coil manufactures in the uk like Custom Coils & Beehive coils.

If you take out the coil & take it to them they can make an exact copy.
Maybe they can upgrade the tube thickness to help with the bursting problem.

Cheaper & better delivery time ?
