    spring loaded hand valve problem

Hi everyone. We install sping loaded hand valves on a remote Manitowoc ice machine so that we could isolate the condenser from the machine in case of trouble. After two week from installing them the ***** gouldnt pass throu the hand valve causing the high pressure switch to open.I had to remove them to make the ice machine work properly.Any idea why this happen? The supplier state that this wasnt sopposed to happen !

Re: spring loaded hand valve problem

Were the valves designed for the refrigerant being used?

    Inner seals failed?

Valve installed backwards, pressure made valve close ?

What make of valve is it?
