Air conditioning system
Could you explain why it may be neccessary to preheat the air to be conditioned before it is humidified prior to supply in water?

The temperature of the air decides how much moisture can be entrained with it.

I think you talk about air handling units (AHU). This is depends from the process in AHU and from conditions that you want to obtain. Firstly you should draw all processes in AHU on i-d diagram. After that you need to decide how your AHU should looks.

Hi,
Preheat of ambient air in air handling unit is done to bring ambient temperature near to comfort temperature and humidified to bring moisture level in air to comfort levels.
