Evaporator coil And Condensor coil
Hi,
I need one clarification. How to indentify evaporator coil assy and condensor coil assy if both kept infront of us.
Thanks,
Praveen

Re: Evaporator coil And Condensor coil
That would depend on what type of coils we are looking at.
A plate heat-exchanger might look exactly the same, so might a coiled heat-exchanger or a tubular one.
Refrigerant to air ones, might look the same but if one got a "shower head" type distributor and the other a header, then the one with the header would be the condensor.
If you got [IN] and [OUT] labels on them then, generally, a condensor would have the gas entering at the top whilst the evaporator would have liquid entering at the bottom.
Good luck.
