    Compressor motor protector module

I ordered a motor protector module for a copeland scroll weeks ago from our local wholesalers for a Climate packaged chilled water unit. I gave them the model of the chiller and the compressor and what i thought was the model of the module but i got a call saying i must have missed one of the letters off, now i'm sure that i haven't and if i have could anyone help me out

As far as i'm concerned its a INT 69SC. but he says i missed a letter off

If it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.

This is because he is stupid merchant and he has to sell you what he has on shelf.
Your model is right, and he thinks that it should be INT 69SCY (which has additional function of phase monitoring). You could also fit this one but you should make connections to the compressor power supply terminals.

    Re: Compressor motor protector module

The INT 69 SC is a special version from copeland Scroll compressor. If you want to replace it the best way is to order it via priem source.
There are no other alternatives in the market because this products are special developed for copeland customized.

    Re: Compressor motor protector module

The early ones fitted to copeland scrolls where just ordianry style INT69's with no phase protection, same style as in the copeland and later prestcold semi's. Newer scrolls use the INT69SCY with phase sensing.

    Re: Compressor motor protector module

The suppliers were adamant that there was another letter after the INT 69SC, i have argued with them and shown them the above picture to prove it but he isn't having it so we have ordered thw INT 69SCY which has phase monitoring.
How different will the wiring be from the other one because i will be sent to change it and i dont want to get it wrong.

I think its just got an extra three wires that go to the compressor terminals to check the phases are in the right place.
