    Haier a/c

Hi folks, This is my first time using the forum so hello to all. While i'm on, I've been unfortunate enough to have recently worked on a Haier a/c split. Does anyone have a fault code list for these units?

I tried a couple of years ago to get codes for those things, it was impossible, even from the suppliers. In the end it was aprocess of elimination to get to the fault, good luck!

Nope, I read one 'trouble shooting' section which had three items in it.

It was a case of count the flashing lights and which light was it anyway!

    .

Anyway, whatever happened to Haier in the UK?

At one time all the trade comics were full of it, then they seem to have disappeared without a trace.

I have installed sone Vent-Axia units which are Haier badged as VA. Contact VA, ask for AC technical they will be able to give you explanations for fault codes.

I think a deal to distribute via Dean & Wood going belly up maybe had something to do with it. Dean & Wood were a bit cagey about it in the press, saying the would still consider a tie-up but something must have spooked them.
