Re: Leak caught on camera
Now that's a big cloud. I'm trying to think what is in the persons mind sitting in the silver car who waited until they were completely in the cloud before driving off???
If all else fails, ask for help.

Re: Leak caught on camera
They were running from something, but i am not so sure about NH3(because of the silver car). Ammonia has a way of changing your direction, especially in a cloud like that! Also, although i could not be sure about this, flammability could be a concern in this situation!
I would like to know more about this release! Considering that i am no expert!

Re: Leak caught on camera
Hi guys,
This leak was in the States (i believe in texas) the leak was on a tank of 40.000 Kg NH3 when during service a valve broke of of the tank.
And yes the cloud is NH3. There is one movie more on a site in the netherlands where i live.
I'll try to link it with my next post.
On this movie you can see the cloud going over the gras. (where it is wet) NH3 loves wet hahaha lol

Re: Leak caught on camera
In a similar vein, check out he link below to get some idea of Ammonia or similar gasses if you don't control it's pressure temperature relationship.
IE when purging etc. etc.
