Hotpoint Mistral upright freezer problem.

Model number Fz 90 (Frost free)

Had a call from my mum whose freezer has stopped working. She wishes me to purchase her a new one but rather than throw away her freezer I thought it best to see if hers is fixable?

The problem is, it is no longer cooling. The lights all work, the red overheat led stays on and the back remains warm. There is also the noise of I'm assuming the motor? But she believes it is slightly louder than normal.

Any input would be greatly received.
