    co2 hp water heater



    Hi sirs
    I've known there're co2 hp water heater sold in Japan. Anybody here know more about this product or related material,pls share with me. thanks!

    Hi Li we at Sanyo have a range of these.
    Only one for Europe at present but the range will
    be developed and increased early next year.

    Not such a big COP.
    Why then use CO2 and why not R507c for instance?

    Hi,

    I think carbon dioxide is an example of the natural refrigerants (beside ammonia; that's why they both are used in the cascade refrigeration systems) Its GWP is 1. R507 has GWP at the level of 3900. I think the difference lies here.
