Crickey! I always do it by feel, and sight, It depends on the size of pipe your brazing, Cuopro (coper to coper ) rod will do copper to copper.

To be homest I would strongly sugest you go on evan a day course, I dont think its realistic to advise in any other wat than to show practicaly. Try talking to boc or one of the collages, You could get in alot of trouble setting up the bottles wrong mate. Make sure you also use flash back arresters.

Depending on the nozzle, i use between 5psi and 10psi for the oxy and acc. the nozzle won't see this pressure as the little taps on the torch aren't fully open.
For copper to brass(or steel) you need silfos 38 and a suitable flux or use the flux covered rods.
For copper to copper i use rothenberger rolot s2 rods.
If you are buning holes in the pipe you may be better with a bigger nozzle held further away.
For the four way valve you will need to be able to get it hot quickly, and brazed quickly, maybe a pepper pot style heating nozzle or one of the coat hanger shaped ones with three outlets.
Don't forget to purge the pipework with ofn at 1-2psi as you braze.
If you are not well practiced at brazing i would not recommend fitting a four way valve. i have been brasing for 15+ years and i would not look forward to changing one....
Don't forget a good sized fire extingusher and a bucket and wet rags.

    1. It depends on size of a burner. Most often, acetylene pressure is about 0,3-0,5 bar and oxygen is abut 1-2,5 bar.

    2. 20% or more silver rod and 6% phosphor rod

When brazing, where ever the copper is red hot, the flux will go, just be sure to heat the tube and the coupling equally (dark red), and if you see green flame, pull the torch back immediately. That is the sign that you are burning the copper.
