    copper to copper- 15% silver
    copper to brass- 45% silver

Those have worked well for me if it's a problem. You can use 15% on both but surfaces must be spotless for copper to brass.

35% with reccomemnded flux, works well with disimilar metals as well, like copper to brass or copper to steel or steel to brass.

and definetly agree with big john on 15% copper to copper.

Another brand, many of you may already be quite familiar, but worth repeating is ....HARRIS

    http://www.harrisproductsgroup.com/c...gSoldering.asp

Available in most parts of world -I 've seen it stocked up in China and over in Vietnam. Very satisfactory.

    For general refrigeration use.

Cu to Cu, Silfos 5 , no flux required.
    Brass to copper, with flux.

In both cases the joint should be as clean as possible.
