    Refreshing memory

Can anyone tell me what the cfm value is for a room per square metre or where i can access a chart etc? I remember designing at college using CIBSE guidelines but that was a long time ago.
    Anyone refresh me??

    Cool CFM in a Room

    Well Reg-
I'm sure the standards in Kansas must be different but here's what we do. For most commercial applications, we're looking for a minumum of 1.25 cfm per square foot (almost 12 cfm per square meter). In residential use, we'd like to get at least half that amount
If I've answered the wrong question, let me know.

You need someplace between 300 and 400 CFM per ton, depending on coil size, latent load, etc. Do a load size, convert to tons and supply the appropriate air for the load in that room.

.......... DO A LOAD CALC..................... for your application... you're not designing on "rule of thumb" are you?

the factor differs on application..... "Don't get me started........"
