    R410a Oil Return

Does Anybody Know The Velocity And Miscibility Rates For R410a?
I Have Been Told The Velocity For 410 Negates The Use Of Oil Traps For Oil Return By One Manufacturer. A different manufacturer said that Even If There Is Only 1 Metre Differential Between Indoor (lower) And The Condensing Unit ,traps Must Be Fitted, Which one is right??????
Hope Someone Can Shed Some Light On This Subject.

Interesting mind! Look at splits on R410A. Have you ever seen a traps on theese ones? The differential between units may be about 30 m (90 feets).

Have a look at Mcquay's web page they do a good piping guide with all the info you need.
