I thought that most questions nowadays were something along the line of...

    1. Done this before ?
    2. Can you drive ?
    3. When can you start ?

True but i think making potential employees sit a simple test before they start would be a great idea

Re: air conditioning questions and answers

    Hi,

    1. Three symptoms of blocked condensor.
    a) Temperatures not achieved in the air conditioned area.
b). High discharge pressure drop leading to higher power consumption.
    c) Tripping of compressor.

    2. Function of evaporator.

Function of evaporator is to facilitate transfer of heat from the air conditioned area to the liquid refrigerant flowing inside the heat exchanger.

    2) incresed current draw
    3) High head pressure
    4) reduced efficency

    Function of an evaporator?

to evaporte the liquid into a superheated vapour

Re: air conditioning questions and answers

I think the problem is that sometimes the person asking the questions is not always fully conversant with the answers.

It would perhaps be prudent to include one of the firms technicians somewhere in the interview process to get a 'feel' for the newcomer.

Re: air conditioning questions and answers

Since 40 years at field service , the hard to know answer to new technician is.
Why the evaporator is full ice blocked if fan is run?

Why a part of a evaporator is part ice blocked.?

When a evaporator is full wet at the evaporators coil turns , and fins? What does it means?

Which is one of the main reason for a High pressostat trip , furthermore that it was an increase in discharge pressure , why it happens ?

Which are one of the most reason of faults?
