    bubble temperature?



    hi just been looking through a few questions that iv been set for a course but im a bit stuck on one of the questions...im not asking for the answer but an expanation... Im not sure what "bubble temperature" or "dew" temerature are... Can anyone help

    In relationship to refrigerant blends, temperature glide is

    a) discharge line temperature – suction line temperature
    b) dew temperature – bubble temperature
    c) bubble temperature – evaporating temperature
    d) dew temperature – condensing temperature

    The dew point temperature is generally associated with the refrigerant in its gaseous state.Bubble point is the refrigerant in its liquid state.Due to the nature of blended refrigerants you will find that each component either evaporates or condenses at slightly different temperatures thus causing the temperature glide,this of course is different for each type of blend.Some manufacturers also use the mean pressure which is effectively the mid point in the glide.
