Samsung Power Plug doesnt fit

Hi,
I am replacing the evap cover on a Samsung RS21WCNS (usual warm fridge problem) The keying and pin orientation on the new power plug is different, so it wont fit. Yet the evap cover fits perfectly - any advice please ??
