Gas Change
I am trying to convert a 15 Ton Daikin air conditioning plant into a freezing plant, ofcourse after modifying its components to operate in co ordination. the problem is that the plant is basically meant for use on R22 ,,,can I use an azeotrope instead? I intend to use the foll mixture
75 % R22
25 % R12
does this azeotropic mixture work the same way as CF2Cl2 ??
One more question, please
My compressor plate reads
-15C/+40c/+20 C
does it mean evaporative temp, condensing tep and air temp respectively??
It says 9 Kw and about 11400 Kcal/hr
what will be the capacity if the final air temp is reduced to -10 C ??
thanks and rgds

Re: Gas Change
wi mixing two extingd gasses, change fully to R290, whit some safety modifications.
works better, is cheaper , think about it.

Re: Gas Change
R22 is fine for low temperature and was quite common some time back the only problem is the seperation of r22 and oil at low twmperature necessatating the use of an oil seperator for oil return.
