Copper U Values
I am looking for U values for standard refrgeration gauge copper.
Primarily 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 & 5/8.
In the past I have been given figures ranging from 15w m2/k to 300w m2/k.
Thanks
David

It's not that I'm too lazy to look it up in my ASHRAE manual, but there are many people here who are much more qualified than I, to respond to your inquiry....
But I would like to see the information in comparison to the stainless steel utilized in the Hoshizaki Ice Machine evaporator. I had the thought that the poor thermal characteristics of stainless steel (as it relates to making ice) may be partly responsible for the energy consumption rating of the machines.
