Does any one have a installation manual on the installation of Insulated Puf Panels along with drawings and other details.

I urgently need one. In case some information or a book on such is available I shall be happy to get the same or the link to it.

never seen one, you can get the manufactures spec off the websites but fitting is a trade down to the install guys,bit like asking one of us the proper way to gas a unit up,allthough there is a industry standard,by that i mean a right and wrong way.

Hi Dan,

I have had a very bad experience with the panel manufacturers in our country. Last time I had the complete panels imported and the work was executed very nicely. I would have preferred to give them more orders, but they lack as far as the business ethics are concerned.

Now we are to execute a number of these Cold Storages. These are all for fruit pre cooling and storage. They comprise of 4-6 Chambers in one project with a large ante room. We are in negotiation with some panel manufacturers in Europe, but they will not be able to undertake the installation. Our previous unuits had gained a good reputation and I want to maintain that if not increase the same.

The panels are to be of puf insulated with precoated sheets. In case you have further informations on installation, I shall be grateful as I could train a group of technicians for only panel installation. In case you are aware of any good and reliable panel manufacturer, kindly do send me a PM.

There are many thing involved in a Cold Room
First of all the insolated panels should be produced according internationals Code .The panels should have a very close quality controls procedure. The panels should have an Lab. Certitification of Fire Code, Humidity absortion. Thiknnes of the cover plate and paint and has a exact dimentios with a very low tolerance.Also free of CFC
Second one ask if the Cold Room is for positive temperatur or negative temperature.
At positive temperature the problems that could arises in a Cold room are minimal. But you should be aware of water condentation that could get into the electrial ilumination pipe if those are not very good sealed.
For negative temperature there are more details that you shold follow.
-The floor insulation and flor heating sistem
-The compentation pressure valves
-how you hang up the evaporators to celing?
-Heat up the water drain pipe of the evaporators
-You should care of the insulated of all the pipe and bar passing throught the panels
- The water steam barrier of floor and panel to panel should be closely be observed.

If the cold Room will be exposed to the atmosferic wind you should be aware of the pressure of the wind agains the panels.
