    PDF Print Driver

    Hi all,
Don't know if anyone has tried these, but I've found this to be very useful.

Do a search on google for 'PDF Print driver' and you will find several. The one I've been using is 'PRIMO'.

Basically it appears as a Printer in your printer list...you print to it and it produces a .pdf file which you can then read with adobe reader.

Its useful when you dont have a printer to hand (eg mobile with your laptop) or if you just want to keep a copy of something without generating loads of paper. The other advantage is when you 'print' a page from internet explorer...instead of losing the rhs of the page, you capture the whole page...

One tip is to set up the path for the file to be in desktop or my documents.

    Adrian.

I use the version within Acrobat Professional. This is a very handy tool to have.
If all else fails, ask for help.

    .

I use an older version of Scansoft PDF create, which comes with pdf print drivers.

One invaluable use for this is that it allows you to save an email from Outlook (which I use for my e mail) to any folder as a PDF, which is more convenient to save, read and print than a .pst file.

Our company has been using CutePDF (You can find it at www dot cutepdf dot com .. spaced out because I cant post URLs yet :P) for many years now. Its totally free, and produces great - if limited in option - PDF files.
