frost free
Hi
a question from my mom, she has a zanussi frost free fridge freezer which makes a loud cracking noise does anyone know if this is normal for this appliance? she has been told that it is because it is frost free not sure if she is being told the truth or not any answers please?

Yes, this is quite normal.
It is the sound of the plastic liner inside the freezer expanding and contracting.
There was a whole thread on this subject here somewhere.
