Brine
Does anyone know of a brine solution that can be used to cool nitric acid but will not react with it to cause a nasty mixture if it were to breach the cooling pipes/coils.
We are currently using Sodium Nitrate brine but can not take it below -16 C because it will come out of sloution and freeze the unit. This gives us an outlet temperature of -10 C.
A target outgoing temperature of -15 C would be ideal.
Thanks
Taylok
