    Re: HELP NEEDED a.s.a.p :)

    Hi mather and welcome,

In my opinion they are as follows :

    1- LP = suction pressure
    2- HP = discharge pressure
    3- SH = super heat
    4- SC = sub-cooling
5- Bubbles in the sight glass

    Cheers

Ohh, cheating for a test are we??

    -Sight-glass
    -Sub cooling
    -Liquid receiver's liquid level
The above are the best I can think of at the moment, below are secondary ones.
    -Super heat
    -Discharge temperature
-Delta T between discharge and liquid
-Compressor running current (most noticeable on inverter driven compressors in VRV/VRF systems)
    -Delta T across evaporator
    -
    -

BTW, you are apparently being taught backwards troubleshooting. Out there in the real world you are not given the problem and asked the symptoms, you are given the symptoms and asked the problem.

This is more important than many would believe. People form habits in school which are extremely difficult to change. They go through life troubleshooting backwards, i.e. suspecting what the problem might be and then seeing if the symptoms match, rather than checking the symptoms and then narrowing down to the problem(s).
