    Re: displacement compressors

According to the compressor chart here...
    https://pgw100.portal.gases.boc.com/...ompressors.asp

    The T2168 is a 1/2hp rated at 752Watts while the T2178 is a 5/8hp rated at 910Watts.

The sites compressor comparision chart gives the range rating as..
    T2168 701-800W
    T2178 901-1000W

Don't know whether this helps or hinders but at least you've got some more numbers to worry about now

    Re: displacement compressors

hi brian thanks for that info that helps slightly but refering to the nrs book it lists them both as the same h/p and the only diffrence between them is the displacement i think i will just buy the right compressor thanks again james
