    Lightbulb CFC replacements

    Hi all

My name is Barath Baburao, I am a Chemical Engineer and was working on a project called "Thermodynamic modeling of HF mixtures" during my Masters degree. The project was on correlation and prediction of phase co existence properties of binary mixtures containing HF. Anyways I am looking for a list of Fluorcarbon/HFC/CFC manufacturers around the world. Can anyone suggest me something abt this?

    Thanks for your time

    Barath

The Prof assumes you are aware of RefProp v6.01 and the work NIST and Mark McLinden have done with refrigerant modeling. ASHRAE has adopted their thermodynamic data on the newer HFC refrigerants and blends.

The link in my previous post will get you the e-mail address of Mark McLinden, and it has an order form for the software (it will cost you $200... perhaps there is a student discount?). The software includes a nice booklet explaining aspects of the refrigerant modeling.
