Yes, using the Testo 561 since more than one year, and very happy with that.

I suppose that we should add...

How much are you paid or are you a lottery winner?

Check out some prices before you get too excited.

Over here in Canada Testo seems to have a problem supplying them. I do know that the 523 falls short of the DigiCools who also makes the Ritchie Yellow Jacket one. They keep saying that the 556 and 560 are coming soon but so is Santa Clause.

    Digi-Cool and Ritchie Digital Manifolds

Digi-Cool has been in the market for four years now and we are very well known for our durability coupled with our suitability to application. Our patented bargraph is absolutely invaluable for today's reefer mechanic in troubleshooting the modern HVAC/R system. The update on the bargraph is 4X per second with a selectable update on the numeric pressure/sat.-bubble-dewpoint readout of 1sec, 5sec or hold.
Since this site will not allow me to either put in the data sheets or post a URL for either digi-cool.com or yellowjacket.com I apologize for not being able to link you to them.
I have been a reefer mechanic for over 30 years and built my first Digital Refrigeration System Analyzer 20 years ago and have honed and perfected the present iteration over 20 years. Feel free to contact me directly in Canada, eh! Cell Ph please do not post phone numbers or e-mail addresses in the open forum - use PM's - Frank I am always available or I am on the mountain on my bike....leave a message.

O5g, how does the testo 523 fall short of the digi-cool?
have you seen the new 523?
And you are right! the new 556 & 560 are coming, in one month!

Have the 2 year old TestoKool 523 and like it very much but think that the newer 523, 556 or 560 will be much better.

you are looking at roughly £600 for the testo 556 and £800 for the 560 if you buy from most places.

If you join up at http://www.testo.co.uk/ you can get them a lot cheaper and view demos on how they work.

I know nothing about the yellow jackets though.
If it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.

    I have just seen a site where a firm is selling the 556 @ £770 inc.vat and the the 560 @ £986 inc.vat the 560 has a vacuum gauge built in.

    Thanks for the info
